NEWSLETTER ABOUT THE LATEST WORK OF THE DUTCH WRITER AND PAINTER JAN G. MARQUE
Newsletter May 2010
Dear Readers,
At the beginning of March the exhibits in Holland were finished. And while the spring is further expanding I managed to complete three works, "The dawn of Dr. Kamt,""Starting sunset" and "Mountainous Landscape." The first two works have a Philosophical Realistic base and the caption is part of the artwork. The mountain landscape has just a title. In painting this little work I have been inspired by my many trips to the Ahr Valley in Germany.
If you can find out who Dr. Kamt is, then you already have a large portion of the mysterie accomplished in that work. Starting sunset can be seen as a preview of a major new work that will be called "The Cauldron and the Afterglow," a Natural Philosophical work with a long caption. (Dutch) I am also working on an assignment in which the cathedral of Chartres and the Brabantse Wal (Dutch Landscape) are involved. I will elaborate more on this subject in the next newsletter.
There are also two items added to my website. The first article is about where I seek a sponsor or a commissioner for the realization of a large art project, named Vril, The Power of the Coming Race, by Edward Bulwer Lytton. The second article is about the introduction of the Philosophical Realism in romantic landscapes, where I explain the concept. Finally there is a link attached to the page on my website where you can find my very last earlier work that are still for sale.
Enjoy
