Latest work of Jan G. Marque.
For this month I painted one romantic landscape and I wrote and painted one artwork as part of my philosophical realism art form. It's called; The Seven Steps of the Grail. The painting itself is a mixture between a book illustration and a mural painting. The text is written in a novel style. The only problem is the translation into English. So I can only show you half of the artwork for now, the painting. It's the same with a lot of my other work on my website. It's going to take a while before I can translate some of my writings into English, so I can finally present my artwork as a whole to my English readers. Some of my work has only one sentence, some have one page A4, but my latest work: The seven steps of the Grail has almost fourteen pages, so that's a lot of work to translate. A nice thing about this artwork is, that it's going to be published in a Dutch magazine. I got published before, but I really like this one.
I already started with my new big project. It's called; The Letters From the Raven and the Crow. I'll present it, well, at least the painting for the English readers, in February 2009. I'm also working on two new romantic landscapes and a Janus Trifrons. Parcivalius has to wait.
